This Shipping Policy outlines how Tari Designs ships orders within South Africa and internationally. For full delivery times, costs, and customs information, see our shipping page.
Shipping origin
All orders ship from our studio in Cape Town, Cape Town, South Africa.
Shipping methods
- South Africa: standard or express courier (The Courier Guy / Aramex SA)
- USA: TUNL Economy (DDP) or FedEx/UPS Express
- UK, EU, AU, ROW: FedEx International Priority or UPS Worldwide via TUNL
Order processing
Orders placed before 12:00 SAST (10:00 GMT) ship the same working day. Ready-to-wear pieces have a handling time of 2–3 working days. Made-to-order or custom pieces have a handling time of 5–10 working days.
Customs, duties, and taxes
USA orders ship Delivered Duty Paid — all import duties and taxes are prepaid. UK orders under £135 have UK VAT collected at checkout. All other international orders may have local VAT or duties owed to the carrier on delivery, depending on the destination country.
Risk of loss
Risk of loss and title for items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
Lost or damaged parcels
All international parcels are insured up to R150,000 through TUNL. If your parcel is lost or damaged in transit, contact us within 14 days of the expected delivery date and we will resolve it directly with the carrier.
